ALTHOUGH the weather was not on our side and it rained on Loughborough’s second event the voucher vault was up and running thanks to Carillion Court shopping centre agreeing to play host.
A fairly strong wind meant Geoff Tookey’s cookery demonstrations had to be relocated in a sheltered spot after it was felt he was in danger of being blown away.
This was the campaign’s second visit to Loughborough, a complete contrast to the one in May that was warm and sunny, but it still attracted the crowds.
