Making Markets Matter campaign hits Dudley
THERE was a big civic welcome at Dudley in Worcestershire when the Making Markets Matter roadshow rolled into town.
At Dudley the team were greeted by the Mayor, Coun Ray Burston, and Coun Adrian Turner, council cabinet member for law and property.
Coun Burston really entered into the spirit of the occasion at Dudley, trying out the prize voucher vault and sporting a Making Markets Matter orange polo shirt, with Mayor of Dudley emblazoned on the back.
As ever the event drew the crowds, with master chef Geoff Tookey producing his culinary delights for everyone to taste.
The Dudley event was boosted by special entertainment organised by the council, including a band and stiltwalkers.
The people of Dudley were also wowed by street walkers and a brass band organised by the council
